Apple revealed the two new models of iPhone 5 on 10th September, the iPhone 5c and iPhone 5S.
The new iPhone has become more colourful with the introduction of new, attractive casing for both models.
The iPhone 5S is the new top of the range phone from Apple with improved 8 megapixel camera featuring a 64 bit chip that is twice as fast as the previous version of iPhone 5 plus better resolution in low light settings. It also features Touch ID fingerprint scanning for stronger identification and bypass typing a 4 digit code to access the phone. It retails at £549 for 16GB and goes all the way up to £709 for 64GB. The iPhone 5S is all about the bling as it comes in gold, silver and grey. <!–more–>
The iPhone 5c is a low-cost version of the iPhone 5 and prices start at £469 for 16GB (£549 for 32GB). It looks like an iPod Touch and comes in five bright colours: green, yellow, blue, red and white. It features an 8 megapixel camera with improved HD FaceTime. The battery life is 10 hours talk time, like the iPhone 5S. This model is slightly heavier than the previous iPhone 5 but has the same connectivity specification supporting Wifi and Bluetooth.
This new version of the iPhone 5 is expected to be very popular thanks to its colourful and playful casing resembling the iPod Touch.
